Life Jacket Loaner Board Program
On March 27, 2010, Brian and his son, Nathan, headed out for a fun day of fishing. Complying with Missouri law, life jackets were onboard but not worn because that state only requires children under seven to wear them. The boat capsized tossing both father
and son into cold water. Neither survived.
To honor Brian and Nathan, we have transformed our grief into a mission to increase awareness and educate the community about the significance of wearing life jackets. We have established life jacket loaner boards, presented at gatherings, and collaborated with groups to promote our cause and avoid future incidents.
We understand the profound impact that such losses can have on families and communities, and we are committed to ensuring that no one else has to go through the pain and sorrow we experienced. By sharing our story and advocating for open water safety, we hope to prevent accidents and save lives.
Join us in our mission to promote open water safety and prevent senseless tragedies. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone stays safe while enjoying water activities.
